Sugar Ray Singer Mark McGrath Ties The Knot!

Sugar Ray rocker Mark McGrath, 44, has married his longtime girlfriend Carin Kingsland after a three-and-a-half year engagement.

The couple exchanged vows on Monday morning with their two-year-old twins playing a part in the wedding ceremony.

Mark’s son Lydon was a ring bearer and his twin sister Hartley was a flower girl.

McGrath’s manager, Chip Quigley confirmed the news earlier today, stating, “Mark and Carin are tying the knot today up here in Santa Barbara. Just a few friends and family to celebrate there longtime love affair . . . Beautiful day. Great people.”

Mark McGrath and Carin had a tough time trying to have a child, with the rocker telling Parent Dish in December 2010 that becoming a father was “the greatest thing that has ever happened to me.”

The singer revealed, “I tried my hardest the conventional way, but that didn’t work out for us. We did the IVF thing. It was intense and expensive, but we did it in one shot and, boom, here they are,” he said. “My job now is to be the best parent I can be because that is all that matters.”

The newlyweds issued a statement about their marriage today, saying, “After 18 years of breakups, makeups, beautiful twins and an unwavering love that provided some pretty damn good song lyrics, we are happy to announce that we are finally married!”

McGrath and Kingsland, who became engaged on New Year’s Eve in 2009, tied the knot in California.
